Dr. Humbargar graduated from the University of Kansas City. He and his wife of over 45 years moved to Colorado in 1966. Dr. Humbargar served in the United States Navy for seven years, and also has taught Prostodontics (dentures and partials) at the University of Colorado Dental School for seven years. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Metro Denver Dental Society, where he was President in 1978, and a member of the Jefferson County Dental Society, where he was President in 1976-1977. He was also a member of the Colorado Dental Association

Dr. Humbargar has many hobbies. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and is very involved in his church, where he sings in the choir. He also loves traveling, golfing, hunting, dancing, and reading.
